Women entrepreneurs in India have come a long way.

Women entrepreneurs in India have come a long way since this term “women entrepreneur” is rare but it is not a new one dated back to 1977 with kalpana saroj of kamani industries being the first women entrepreneur the legacy and era of women being the best businesswomen is still continued.

In the olden times when women were not given the much privilege to show up their potential then also they tried to prove themselves at each step be it the corporation of women manufacturing various fast moving consumer goods established in 1959 popularly known as Lijjat or be it a any present business of the 21st century era women are not less than men at any step from being the best homemaker to being the best business maker ,the journey is quite difficult yet enthralling for the women out there.

As now the scenario has changed a lot there are many budding women entrepreneur who are excelling in their field with flying wings. Let us consider another example of a great women who has changed the whole perception of people in the field of biotechnology kiran mazumdar shaw-the founder of biocon limited. she is known as the India’s wealthiest self-made woman who found a bio-pharmaceutical company in 1978 in 2019 she was even titled as world’s 65th powerful women the list of women entrepreneur with great potential within is very long. The chores of women is no more confined to look after the house only they are managing the business hand in hand with great zeal that is what makes them different from others.

The epoch of patriarchy is no more prevalent even a single mother can raise her child with full love and care along with managing the other tasks if we talk about Indian context in this matter of women being the entrepreneur it has changed a lot which has actually helped them to prove themselves on their chosen platform still people need a lot to change their mindset for women as even are being called ourselves in this so called technological and modern era we are yet lacking because of our mentality we have with us.

Being a women I would like to say whenever the chance is given they have proved themselves and will keep on doing so.
